:: "...I have seen that in any great undertaking it is not enough for a man to depend simply upon himself." -- Isna-la-wica (Lone Man, Teton Sioux)

There are a great many ways to contribute to the memiki project - developers can help with the software, artists with content and public relations, while our user community can greatly assist our cause in a plethora of ways.

Additionally, anyone can contribute financially using our PayPal account. Such contributions (of any size) are greatly appreciated and will be utilised as per our distribution guidelines.

- developers -

Software developers can help in numerous ways. Below are some of the tasks that need help and involvement. For more specific information, please see the TODO file in the tarball/RPM.
  1. fixing bugs
  2. adding features
  3. porting the system to other platforms (Windows, MacOS, etc.)
  4. developing other front-ends
  5. helping as tech support
  6. designing new skins
Also, for CVS access to the source code, visit us on SourceForge.

- artists -

To make our dream a reality, the support of the artist is crucial. Artists can lend their names in support of the project, can help spread the message of memiki via their normal publicity channels, and can record messages for the memiki network, welcoming users to their content and explaining the "give back" philosophy behind our project.

- users -

To help, the user commmunity need only do what it does best: use the system, report bugs, communicate with the memiki teem with ideas/suggestions for new features and enhancements, and spread the word! do his part with QA reporting bugs, suggesting new features and enhancements, etc.
